"My daughters and I currently go here to help train our 1 year old dog. Previous to sessions at Lone Wolf K9, we had trainers come to our house to provide training, however there was not much improvement as we were still lost on what to do next and the handling was always done by the trainer leaving us no room to understand it for ourselves. We heard about Lone Wolf K9 after asking one of the owners of a dog on our street how they were training their dog, as their dog was a prime example of what relationship we want to have with our dog too. After finding Lone Wolf K9, we feel more confident that we can handle our dog and set her up for success. The team is very friendly and always checking in to see how we are doing at home and any struggles we are having. The set up of the classes for group training is the best experience we can give our dog, to see and practice with other dogs in the same area and to be the ones that handle the and take hold of the leash. We've had about 6 drop in sessions and can really see the progress that our dog is making, along with learning the right balance for her at home. I would recommend anyone looking for dog training to start here, this team sets you up for success so you can learn how to handle and be confident with your dog."

"Our 1 and a half year old Rottweiler puppy began to show reactivity towards other people and especially towards other dogs, sometimes turning on his handler. This would make his daily walks more of a stressful task than an enjoyable one. He was always anxious/on edge and was not the type of puppy to relax at home or when out in public. We assumed that this was due to the effects of isolation secondary to lockdowns and the winter weather, when the most people he would see would be a few people on the street for his daily walks in our neighbourhood.

We sent our puppy to a 6 week board and train and Lone Wolf K9.

Guy showed us that our pup is a headstrong, active WORKING dog. He taught us how to channel his limitless energy into tasks that will calm his mind, while also strengthening our bond with him. We have seen a significant reduction in reactivity with him, and Guy has provided us with the knowledge to help him be the best dog he can be.

If you have a dog that is very headstrong and you cannot seem to get a grip on him/her, I highly recommend Lone Wolf K9. We will continue to work with Lone Wolf K9 in order to ensure our puppy remains sharp…and so do we! Because sometimes, the owners are the ones requiring most of the training."
